Volunteers Needed !
In order to stay within the operating
budget of our HOA, volunteers are needed to help maintain
the entrance signs and landscape. At the moment we have a
few people that have taken the initiative to help out with
making the front entrances look better. However, some of the
problems can be overwhelming. Ongoing maintenance items
include the sign lights, landscaping, sprinklers, and
painting of the signs. If you would like to help or if you
have any suggestions, call or email the HOA office. Get
involved.....It's YOUR neighborhood !
Paying your HOA dues
As you know, the annual mandatory HOA
dues are only $60/year for each household. The $60/year was
established in the bylaws when the subdivision was built in
the early 90s. This is barely enough to cover the normal
operating expenses of our neighborhood. When you receive
your new bill, there is an option to donate additional funds
toward maintaining the neighborhood. The donations can be
used to beautify the neighborhood.
At some point, the HOA dues will need to
be increased in order to keep up with inflation. We will
need your help in voting to increase the dues. Keep in mind
that a very small increase will go a long way in maintaining
the neighborhood which will help retain your homes value.
